These talented men and women can perform the most demanding requirements of any job because of their intense and comprehensive training.  Laborers Local 1174 provides training in an array of building construction skills.  Training helps employers compete with higher productivity and quality, and helps workers earn more and work more safely.  Furthermore, the excellent training and apprenticeship programs offered by Laborers 1174, in partnership with unionized employers, ensure the availability of competent, highly skilled, and productive workers to meet the needs of the construction and manufacturing industry. These workers continue to receive upgrade training, in order to keep their skills up to date on the newest technologies.
